Who is Naomi Miguel?

Naomi Miguel is a member of the Tohono O’odham Nation, and Arizona born and raised. Ms. Miguel is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of O’odham Consulting, L.L.C. She is the former Executive Director for the White House Initiative for Native Americans and Tribal Colleges and Universities. Ms. Miguel is a former United States Congressional staffer with campaign and non-profit experience. 

 

She currently serves as a board member for the Tribal Law and Policy Institute. She received her Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Political Science with minors in Pre-Law and Art from Mount St. Mary’s University, an all-women’s college. Ms. Miguel received her Master's in Public Administration and Policy degree from American University. 

 

In 2024, Ms. Miguel was awarded an inaugural honorary Cobell Fellowship from the Cobell Scholarship Program for her advocacy in education. She enjoys Arizona sunsets, art, music and spending time with her family and friends.

Signing the petition gives Naomi the opportunity to be on the ballot. You can only sign two candidate petitions for Arizona's 23rd Legislative District.

  • Arizona Driver's License or State ID;

  • Voter Registration Number, AND

  • The last 4 digits of your Social Security Number​
